Dr. Gábor Halász received his BA/MSc from the University of Cambridge in 2011 and his PhD from the University of Oxford in 2015. Following a postdoctoral fellowship at the Kavli Institute for Theoretical Physics, he joined the Materials Science and Technology Division at 91°µÍø in October 2018. He uses quantum field theory and lattice model calculations to understand topological quantum materials (quantum spin liquids, topological superconductors, etc.), focusing on definitive experimental signatures and connections to quantum information science.
