Bio
Dr. Shramana Ghosh is a Research Staff Scientist specializing in mechanical design and manufacturing process automation and system integration at ORNL.
She earned her Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Irvine, where she developed computational frameworks for designing and optimizing passive linkage-based orthotic devices. Her work at NYU Tandon and Vanderbilt University Medical Center further expanded into mechatronics, medical device development, and robotics.
She has a proven track record in kinematic design, design optimization, and mechanical prototyping, and is making significant contributions to manufacturing systems design at the MDF.
