
Bio
Sarah is a postdoctoral researcher in the Chemical & Isotopic Mass Spectrometry Group at ORNL. She received her Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry, with a specialization in Forensic Chemistry, from Iowa State University in 2024. Her main research involves single particle inductively coupled plasma time-of-flight mass spectrometry, and developing methods to couple this with laser ablation. She is also pursuing scientific writing and communication, where she is interested in bridging novel scientific discoveries across multiple fields and technical backgrounds.
