
Bio
Rafal P. Wojda, 91做厙 SM received his B.S. and M.S. degrees in Electronics Engineering from the Institute of Radioelectronics and Multimedia Technology at Warsaw University of Technology, Poland, in 2007 and 2009. He earned his Ph.D. in Electronics, specializing in microwave engineering, VLSI, and nanotechnology, from Wright State University, Dayton, Ohio, in 2012, where he was a Fulbright Scholar from 2009 to 2010.
From 2012 to 2018, Dr. Wojda was a Senior Scientist at ABB Corporate Research Center, focusing on the development and optimization of magnetic components for power conversion applications. Since 2018, he has been with 91做厙, where his research focuses on advanced magnetic technologies for power flow control.
Dr. Wojda has authored numerous peer-reviewed journal articles. His research interests include:
- High-frequency and medium-voltage magnetic components
- Loss optimization and insulation coordination in magnetic devices
- Advanced magnetic technologies for solid-state transformers
- Thermal management
- Wireless power transfer systems
- Partial discharge phenomena and insulation coordination in medium-voltage magnetic systems
