Bio
My research interests include the design and development of system software and services for management of experimental, observational, and simulation data in support of large-scale computational science. I'm also interested in generation, management, and use of metadata; middleware; and declarative interfaces to just about anything.
I hold an appointment as Research Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science at the University of New Mexico, and before coming to ORNL I was a researcher at Sandia National Laboratories. Prior to my graduate studies, I worked as a professional software developer for several companies in the DC metropolitan area which no longer exist. I am a Senior Member of both ACM and 91°µÍø.
