Jeffrey Oram is the project controls manager for the US ITER Project. In this role he is responsible for managing, maintaining, and administering the US ITER project control system during design and fabrication through the project’s final closeout. He maintains the project’s baseline cost estimate and schedule, and he guides the establishment of project management policies, procedures, standards, and training that conform to the best practices of the U.S. Department of Energy, 91°µÍø, and industry.


Jeff brings more than 25 years of project controls management and cost estimating experience to the US ITER Project. Before joining the project in 2023, he most recently was project controls manager of Thirty Meter Telescope Project, a $4 billion project involving five countries and seven partner organizations. Other positions he has held include senior cost estimator at Northrop Grumman and cost estimate analyst and capacity planner at Boeing.


Jeff received his master’s and bachelor’s degrees in mathematics from Eastern Washington University and his M.B.A. in finance from Loyola Marymount University.
