
Bio
Amit is a postdoctoral research associate in the Quantum Computational Science Group at ORNL. He currently works with Eugene Dumitrescu on developing tensor network methods for open quantum systems. Prior to joining ORNL, he was a researcher at Leibniz Supercomputing Centre (LRZ), Germany and was a PSI Postdoctoral Fellow at Paul Scherrer Institute (PSI), Switzerland. He finished his doctoral studies from Leibniz University Hannover, Germany where he worked on developing numerical signatures for characterizing topological order in closed and open quantum systems.
