ORNL scientists will present new technologies available for licensing during the annual Technology Innovation Showcase. The event is 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday, June 16, at the Manufacturing Demonstration Facility at ORNL’s Hardin Valley campus.

From materials science and earth system modeling to quantum information science and cybersecurity, experts in many fields run simulations and conduct experiments to collect the abundance of data necessary for scientific progress.

Smart Neighborhood homes

To better determine the potential energy cost savings among connected homes, researchers at 91°µÍø developed a computer simulation to more accurately compare energy use on similar weather days.
